Welcome to the first step in the process of understanding self! Mental health is at an all time high right now, leaving people struggling with depression, low energy, overeating, and obsessive compulsive disorders. More now than ever, counseling is needed during this 'loneliness epidemic'.
At ‘Move-It & Speak-It Counseling' services, I provide effective counseling approaches in a non-traditional therapeutic setting called, nature. Nature helps reduce stress, anxiety, depression and can improve concentration and attention. My goal is to teach you a deeper relationship with body and mind connection through different tools to help manage your anxiety, improve your relationships, and manage your trauma through holistic ways in nature.
Today, people are exhibiting more of a harder time with emotional regulation. It is believed, the reason for their struggles are due to a lack of physical movement and not having tools for self-understanding. Research tells us exposure to nature while counseling, heals! Taking the time to immerse in nature, breathing, walking, while having hard conversations, leads us to our own understanding. My therapeutic space is a form of psychotherapy that restores our connection to nature and utilizes that bond to calm our nervous systems and seek truth.
